A brand new image of Chris Hemsworth as The Mighty Thor has been released. The image shows Thor apparently trying to pull his hammer Mjolner out of a pile of rock.
It looks like Chris took the role seriously as he is majorly ripped as can be seen by his huge guns. Chris is starting to look like a dancer from Thunder Down Under. So far, this movie seems promising.
AnnaLynne McCord Hits Vegas for Her Birthday with Beau Kellan Lutz
90210 star AnnaLynne McCord celebrated her 23rd birthday on Friday (July 16) at Wet Republic at the MGM Grand Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas. Also there to celebrate with her was her boyfriend, Twilight hunk Kellan Lutz. Kellan knows how to get the party started as he lifted his woman in his arms and literally swept her off her feet. Now that’s a birthday present to remember. What do you think of this couple?
Celebrities are getting married left and right. On the heels of the nuptials of Carrie Underwood to Mike Fisher and Megan Fox to Brian Austin Green, comes the news that actress Vanessa Marcil (General Hospital) has married CSI: NY actor Carmine Giovinazzo.
The couple were married in New York on Sunday (July 11) with family and close friends.
Speaking of Brian Austin Green, Marcil has a son with her ex-boyfriend Green named Kassius. Kassius also attended his father’s wedding to Megan Fox in Hawaii.
Vanessa was previously married to 80s star Corey Feldman from 1989 to 1993.
I’m thrilled with this couple as I like both actors and they look great together. I have been a fan of Carmine’s for quite some time. Best of luck to the happy couple.
According to EW’s Michael Ausiello, one of the resident hunks on 90210 will be coming out as gay.
And the contenders are…Liam (Matt Lanter), Navid (Michael Steger), and Teddy (Trevor Donavan).
And this isn’t some sort of angst-fueled, bi-curious sweeps arc àla Adrianna’s season 2 flirtation with Rumer Willis.
How can I be so sure? Well, for starters, one of the show’s producers is confirming it. “We want to address the issue in a real and relatable way,” says co-EP Jennie Urman, who says the coming-out plot is but one of several “great story lines” fans can look forward to in season 3.
I for one would love it if Liam were to come out, but I have a feeling it’s going to be Teddy. Teddy’s womanizing reputation must be his way of repressing and hiding his true feelings. I guess we’ll have to wait until the fall to find out for sure. So who do you think is coming out and who would you like it to be?
Supergirl Returns to 'Smallville' for the Final Season
Although Smallville will be going into its tenth and final season, the veteran CW show is pulling out all the stops before it signs off for good. It was previously announced that John Schneider would make an appearance as Clark’s late father for an episode or two.
Now comes word that Laura Vandervoort will take some time from her current show, V, to reprise her role as Supergirl, Clark’s super-powered Kryptonian cousin. The last time viewers saw the character was early in season 8. She will return for one episode, scheduled to air in October.
I’m looking forward to seeing both Schneider and Vandervoort back on the show as I enjoyed both characters. As for Michael Rosenbaum's Lex Luthor, I could take him or leave him as I've never really cared for the character in either the show or the comics.
It appears that original CSI: NY cast member, Melina Kanakaredes, has opted not to return to the CBS procedural show. She was approached with a new deal for a seventh season but declined.
In a statement, Melina said,
“I made some amazing and lifelong friendships during my six seasons on CSI: NY, and I will treasure them forever.”
Replacing Kanakaredes is Sela Ward. Ward will play “an experienced investigator from Washington, D.C., whose work is driven by her empathy for the victim.” She’ll make her first appearance in the season 7 premiere this fall.
I will miss Melina, but Sela Ward is a welcome addition to the cast. She should provide some new energy and perhaps revitalize the show a bit.
Modern Family's Sofia Vergara on holiday with her boyfriend in Ischia, Italy on Monday (July 12). The couple stayed at the Hotel Regina Isabella and when not in their room, Sofia stepped out in a hot, white two-piece bikini.
Get a load of that last shot. Her boyfriend must be a very happy man!
Taylor Lautner is looking buffer than ever on the set of his latest film, “Abduction,” filming in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Monday (July 12). Taylor looked hot as he raced around on a motorcycle during the shoot. He also showed what a classy guy he is by signing autographs for fans in between takes.
Russell Brand on the set of his new movie in New York, a remake of the 1981 Dudley Moore classic Arthur, on Monday (July 12). Seen in a baseball cap, bright yellow shades, and a horrendous fake beard, Russell shot scenes with his co-star Helen Mirren.
Russell’s fiancee, Katy Perry, is probably glad that the beard is fake, unless she enjoys kissing panhandlers.

For those of you who watch iCarly, you know that Sam (Jennette McCurdy) often speaks about her mother, but we the viewers have never seen her. Well, that’s all about to change as the show has finally cast someone believable enough to have raised a crass and tough-as-nails daughter like Sam.
This is big news as Sam’s mother will be played by Glee star Jane Lynch. If you’ve seen Jane in her role as Sue Sylvester in Glee, you can sure as hell bet that she’ll do an awesome job as Sam’s mom. Jane will appear in the third season of iCarly.
Project Runway's Santino Rice and Austin Scarlett Get Own TV Show
Prepare for complete fierceness and style as Project Runway's Santino Rice and Austin Scarlett are getting their own TV show…together!
The show, called On the Road with Austin & Santino, will follow around the two designers as they visit small towns in America and create “dream-come-true” looks for women in unique situations.
This concept sounds familiar. Hmmm…To Wong Foo Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar anyone? If this show has any bit of the campy excellence of the above mentioned film, then it will definitely be worth watching.
The show premiers on July 29, right after the 8th season premiere of Project Runway!
Syfy’s Eureka returns for Season 4 on Friday, July 9. As evidenced by the promo poster for the show, a new addition to the cast is James Callis (Battlestar Glactica). He should make things interesting in an already quirky and lively town.

After months of rumors, speculation, and news coverage regarding who will be taking over the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the reboot of the franchise, it’s starting to sound like Sony’s Columbia Pictures will be making their decision real soon.
As we recently reported, both Aaron Johnson (Kick-Ass) and Anton Yelchin (Star Trek) were added to the list of contenders. Now, a report from Deadline reveals that studio decision makers spent Friday reviewing the screen tests of most of the actors who are finalists for the much coveted role.
Deadline mentions that although no one has actually been cast yet and there still might be some candidates added to the mix, most likely the role will go to one of the actors who had their screen test viewed on Friday. Along with Johnson and Yelchin, the actors include: Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief), Andrew Garfield (The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, David Fincher’s upcoming, The Social Network), Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot), and Alden Ehrenreich (Tetro). Both Frank Dillane (Harry Potter and the Half -Blood Prince) and Michael Angarano (Gentlemen Broncos) are also still being considered, but it is uncertain whether or not they actually did a screen test.
Ultimately, it seems a decision has to be made in the near future, since production is supposed to begin sometime later this year. Once the role of Peter Parker is set in stone, the studio will be able to focus on choosing a supporting cast that will play well off its main actor. As reported, the 3D film is being penned by Jamie Vanderbilt (The Losers, Zodiac) and will be directed by indie filmmaker, Marc Webb ((500) Days of Summer).
Emma Watson (Harry Potter) recently appeared for the first time with her new boyfriend, George Craig, at this past weekend’s Glastonbury Music Festival. The couple met during Emma’s Burberry photoshoot last summer.
If they were keeping things on the down-low, they’re not being so secretive about they’re relationship any longer, especially since Emma is the star of George’s band One Night Only's new music video for “Say You Don't Want It.”
